Muelle Deportivo de Las Palmas

This mainly-residential zone, located in the centre of the city, owes it’s origins to the economically powerful British Colony that existed here during the late 19th and early 20th Centuries.

Great landscaped zones are mixed with pretty Residences with beautiful gardens and the area is home to several Consulates and the famous Hotel Santa Catalina.

One must-see of this district is Pueblo Canario, located within the Parque Doramas (Park). This idealised Canarian Town was built during the 1930’s and houses several craft shops and traditional restaurants. It also plays venue to regular cultural events.


Also within Pueblo Canario is the Néstor Museum, which houses the works of the Canarian Symbolist Artist, Néstor Martín Fernández de la Torre, who, along with his brother, Miguel, designed Pueblo Canario.
