Booking a transfer in advance of your arrival at Gran Canaria Airport can result in some significant savings compared to the price of a hailing a Taxi outside the terminal building.
Some of the Island’s resorts are a considerable distance from the Airport and a taxi journey can cost over €60 for a single passenger. Compare this to a return transfer between Gran Canaria Airport and Puerto Mogan for under €40 – a saving of €80 on the round trip.

Larger parties (Taxis can only take up to four passengers) and special equipment (bicycles, golf clubs etc.) can also be catered for in a much more economical manner than with Taxis.

Finally, a pre-booked Airport Transfer means that you won’t be waiting in a long queue for a Taxi after a four-hour flight on one of the busier changeover days.

Hi, we are staying at Playa Burrero. We fly back to the UK tomorrow. We have two bicycles in boxes.

We need to get to the airport for around 2pm.

We are wondering how much an airport shuttle from here would be for 2 people and two bicycles?

    Thanks,

    Leonie

Hi, As far as I am aware, the transfer companies don’t go to Playa Burrero. As a general rule, transfers only pick-up/drop-off at Hotels, and not at private villas or apartments.

Hi we land in Las palmas airport at 11.35 am.
It will be on Wednesday in October.
How long is the average wait for the Airport shuttle bus.
    Regards

Hi, It depends on how many other flights are arriving at that time, and how many other bookings there are. Usually the wait isn’t very long, but if a flight arrival is slightly late, then they will likely wait for it.

Hi, can you confirm that if we (my wife and myself) book an airport shuttle bus transfer from Las Palmas airport to the PLAYMAR BUNGALOWS, AVENIDA TOUROPERADOR NECKERMANN, SAN BARTOLOME DE TIRAJANA That we would be dropped off at that address

Hi, Is this a private apartment? If so, then you should book the transfer to the nearest big hotel.
