Public Bus

Buses, known as Guaguas (pronounced waa-waa) in the Canaries, are the only means of public transport on Gran Canaria and are operated by two companies; one offering city transport in and around Las Palmas and the other offering routes connecting the rest of the Island.

The two old inter-urban bus companies (Buses connecting the towns and villages of the island) , Salcai and Utensa, merged in 2000 to form Global SU. They offer a comprehensive, if not always frequent, service with a large number of routes throughout Gran Canaria, including services connecting the Airport with both Las Palmas and Maspalomas.
Global SU

Guaguas Municipales S.A. is the Bus Company in Las Palmas and offer frequent services throughout the city as well as an open-top city tour for tourists.
A Special 10 Journey discount ticket is also available.

Hi I have lost my eye glasses in the airport bus stop or on the 91 bus going to Mogán. I was on holiday last week and lost them on the 26th April. They are in a Ted Baker glasses case and the glasses are have the logo MK on the leg. Please can you see if my glasses have been found and in your lost property.
